NOT DEAD, MORE IMPROVEMENTS TO XTREME BORDERS! |
| No Image Available |
Scientists have been advised
that they are slacking and have been informed of various improvement
requests. With the threat of being sent through an orbital Stargate
without a spaceship or any means of protection, they soon got on with
the task.

TRADER
DISCOVERS UNUSUAL WORMHOLE |
 |
Today a Stable Wormhole was
discovered that leads to alternate versions of our Stars! universe.
These strange new realms can be discovered, explored, plundered by
entering the Wormhole, if you can keep you sanity.
This Wormhole appears to constantly lead to new realities, so
adventurers should keep checking for new realms.

STARGATE
REBUILT + XTREME BORDERS INFORMATION |

The Stargate at the old Nexus
Station had suffered major damage. We have now been able to finally
finish rebuilding the Stargate, but the range is limited at the moment.
Xtreme Borders is currently being worked on by
our scientists. Planned improvements are: Automatically produce images
for a game that uses a backup value greater then one (i.e. for animated
maps); Advanced Stargates - let's you analyse stargates by mass and/or
for certain races of an alliance; a couple of extra minor functions and
again some bug fixes.

THE
NEXUS INVADED BY PIRATES! |
 |
Today the
Nexus was attacked and invaded by Pirates. The Nexus is no more and has
become a stronghold to the Pirates. The few surviours report that some
of the unique technology available at the Nexus has been destroyed in
the battle against the Pirates.
And now, some words from the Pirate Leader, known simply as Pirate
Lord;
"Well, you see now, the Nexus provided a suitable center point of
activities for us. Since the old owners were not interested in trade, we
had to resort to other means....
Anyway, you will find life a lot more interesting now at the Pirates
Retreat. Check out the Black Market. There is not a lot available yet,
but I am sure there will be more items available soon.
We discovered some interesting items at the Nexus, and these are still
available at The Hanger.
Visitiors may also consult our Databanks. There may be some items of
interest in there."
